Oni Wilson-McKnight

Oni Wilson-McKnight- Global Human Resources Expert with 18 years of broad experience in all aspects of international hr, employee relations, organizational development, labor relations, benefit plan design, change management, shop development, and retail business strategy.

Passionate about building brand differentiation, customer experience and performance-driven cultures.  Oni has worked in operations, marketing and human resources functions in companies such as Giorgio Armani, French Connection UK, Marc Ecko Enterprises, and LVMH, where she was Managing Director Human Resources.

By partnering with CEO's and Senior Teams, and working across diverse cultures, industry segments and brands, she is experienced in talent development, process & resource optimization and retail business strategy. Oni has been an adviser to retail business start-ups supporting areas of branding, operations, product positioning, e-commerce and talent strategies.  

Oni continues to consult with international brands developing retail businesses in the US.  She's also founder & CEO of State Shops Global Inc., a correctional business.

Peter Dresing

Peter Dresing started his career in New York at Atalanta Corporation in 1985 and then moved to Carlsberg International, where he was regional area manager in New York, working with Anheuser-Bush, who was Carlsbergs importer in the US.

In 1990 Peter  returned Denmark to work as purchacing manager and strategic marketing consultant at  the most successful Scandinavian retailer Dansk Supermarked, who has MAERSK as a major shareholder. He was responsible for development of their private label strategy and for marketing within grocery section. 

From 1994 – 1996, he was CEO of couple of advertising agencies, handling international clients such as Grundfos, Bang & Olufsen and Dansk Supermarked. 

From 1999 – 2006 Peter was working at TV 2, the largest media group in Denmark. He was responsible for commercial sales, consultation and negotiation with the major national accounts located in the western part of the country. In additon, he was responsible for major sponsorships e.g. Olympic Games and FIFA World Cup soccer events.

From 2006 – 2009, Peter was co-founder and executive president and shareholder for Fobazo. Fobazo had exclusive online image rights with world-famous football players allowing the company to the become exclusive provider of the Official Websites for contracted players. 

In 2007, Mr. Dresing founded the consulting company DiscoverGroup advising companies how to unlock their growth potential and develop their core competencies. 

In 2012 he was founding partner and CEO of AsiaCorp, who is consulting leading brands in northern Europe in finding distributors, license- and franchise partners in the Asia-Pacific region.

Jeremy Brand

Jeremy Brand has over 20 years experience in corporate, commercial and capital raising. In addition, Jeremy has the benefit of direct operational business experience and currently sits on, and advices, several boards of management.

Jeremy’s particular area of interest is commercial law, encompassing contracts (drafting and advice), acquisitions, business structuring, trade practices in compliance and IP.

Jeremy has worked extensively as a commercial legal adviser in the Middle East including Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and the Islamic Republic of Iran.  He is a serving member and Vice President of Bicycle Network Victoria.

Jeremy Tang

Jeremy began his career with Hong Kong entrepreneur Sir David Tang where he started the Pacific Cigar Company and Havana House, the exclusive distributors for Cuban cigars in Asia Pacific and Canada. Jeremy then worked on the launch of the China Club and Cipriani's in Hong Kong and the China Club in Beijing. Jeremy was also the founding CEO of Shanghai Tang that he ran for six years before selling to the Richemont Group in 2000.

Jeremy went on to ran his own management consulting firm, JT Asia Consulting, focusing on business development, branding, sales & marketing and project management for retail brands and hospitalities companies in Asia Pacific.

In 2004, Jeremy joined Li & Fung Retail as the Director of Business Development for a 3-year assignment. Brands included Salvatore Ferragamo, Gieves & Hawkes, Kent & Curwen, Cerruti 1881 and Ted Baker.

Following this, Jeremy returned to JT Asia Consulting, working with clients such as with David Yurman, Cipriani, China Tang, SoHo House, Calvin Klein, Issa London, Yacht de Paris, Nokia, KCNY, Spanx and American Express.

Joseph Lombardi

Joseph Lombardi is a partner at Grant Thornton and Director of their Privately Held Business team in Melbourne. In this role he provides a range of compliance, advisory and financial services. He has been instrumental in growing the firm through his strategic, investment and planning decisions. Joseph ensures enhanced value to the Boards he deals with through his outstanding business and commercial acumen backed by strong financial skills. He regularly acts as an independent chairman to assist in the professionalisation and facilitation of change in emerging and developing businesses. He has been involved in the provision of business advice to a diverse range of entities from small start-ups to large private groups and medium to large closely held enterprises.

Michael Pike

Michael brings over 20 years of experience in creating unique and energising brands that inspire and exceed customer expectations. His experience traverses the mass, premium and luxury sectors from blue chip corporations to niche fashion and lifestyle brands.

His ability to distinguish new opportunities demonstrates his deep insight and understanding of the business dynamics and applied creativity required to deliver commercial results. Above all, he brings extensive experience and communication skills to build and present solutions that pull like-minded people together behind inspiring business opportunities. He is a strategic and creative innovator who delivers results at the highest level.

Howard Moher

Howard Moher has a track record for the monetisation of brands in the UK whether owned or used under licence. He previously formed a partnership with Mike Ashley (of Sports Direct Plc) to purchase the Lonsdale, Karrimor and No Fear brands. Under the stewardship of Howard Moher, Lonsdale and Karrimor were rationalised leading to their return to profitability and the successful signing of licenses with projected royalty revenue in excess of £40 million in aggregate under those brands. Howard Moher recently disposed of his interests in Lonsdale Sports Limited, the owners of the Lonsdale, Patrick and Karrimor brands.

He is a member of the discretionary class of beneficiaries of the trusts which own Stoneville Global Limited and Crestdale Overseas Limited and is a director and significant shareholder of Leisurewear International Limited (LIL) and a partner in The Trademark Licensing Partnership. These companies have interests in the Bukta, Quaser and Respect brands. In addition LIL is an importer and distributor of clothing to retail chains in the UK.

Ehab Botros

Ehab cut his teeth in the heady hay-days of the early nineteen nineties Sydney property boom. He has amassed in excess of $100 million in managed developments. Projects have varied in size from $2.5 million to ‘master plan’ developments exceeding $25 million.

His primary roles have been both as a Director and major shareholder in various developments. These roles have included development management, site procurement, funding, feasibilities, political lobbying, planning, construction administration, marketing and branding. 

A seasoned veteran of the development industry, Ehab brings to SPD not only leadership and experience but a passionate vision for what can be achieved and perspective on how investment followed with return can still create a pleasant amenity and improve on peoples quality of life.

James Ladd

IT problem solver James has over 27 years experience in the information technology industry. He has worked in industries ranging from mobile start-ups through to financial services, health, education and telecommunications. He has developed software applications in a wide range of domains including online shopping, banking and insurance, human resources and social networking. In his most recent venture he is writing an implementation of the Smalltalk language for the Java Virtual Machine.
